Tough kids

My granddaughter ran a cross country course today, proving for all g o see that not all k I do are stuck on a couch with a great boy.the photo is the start of an invitational that was run today. That line of kids is around 300 girls who are starting a 5K course. The winning time for the girls race was something around 17 minutes. Thats roughly 10 mph. These kids are tough and most of them work hard on their training. My granddaughter took 1 full minute 41 seconds of her best time. Very proud of her and the other 299 kids that were on that starting line.

That's an awesome time. I use to run and can relate to those times.

Sports are a great venue for kids to develop good lifelong habits! Great to see your grand daughter being involved and doing well with the running!

I'd have a hard time running across the dirt road on the photo..good for your granddaughter and those other kids 👍

Cross country runners are a very dedicated group . Both of our kids ran cross country. Our son is 49 and he still runs.
