Where are the Trout being caught? Went today and caught flounder(can’t keep)Spanish Mackerel, Mullet, and Lizard Fish, but no Trout.

That remains to be seen. I haven’t seen any from Emerald Isle all the way to Wilmington. Seen a few at the local seafood markets along the way. I was at Emerald Isle on Tuesday fishing in the surf and a commercial boat came so close to the shore. I could cast my rod out and hit it. I am sure they are picking them up along the way.
