Last weekend of the Chinook season. Both of us caught one and they gave up a darn good fight. Going to finish the season tonight. Then it’s back to deer hunting, I should be so lucky.

Good morning. Yes, I have it in a liquid brine this morning. I haven’t tested this recipe yet, hopefully it’s good.

Was it a Buck? I have always found with salmon the bucks meat is good even when their skin is darker as compared to hens.
