Langer Loc: Lake Havasu City, Arizona

On Friday I headed down to the South shore of Havasu and it was very muddied up around the Bill Williams River area. So I ended up going over past the Colorado River and stopped at a small bass pond that I been to in the past. Usually catch two or three large mouth as I throw my kayak in and troll a square bill and then stop and do some casting. The largemouth seem to be stunted as the small lake gets very little action. I was the only one there yesterday so just about all the large mouth run 11-12 in. But a fun afternoon and you can see the mid 80° Arizona sunshine turned to be a beautiful day.

Nice Fish Langer. Good looking pond, and all catching is good catching, IMHO. Thanks for the pictures.

I saw the murky water there also. I think Alamo lake is releasing water.

I actually put my kayak in at Bill Williams River and paddled all the way around the peninsula before I decided I'd never be able to catch anything so went back and put the kayak in and headed for the pond over near Parker, which was a good move.
