Well if you remember or saw my post last week of me filling my tag I mentioned of trying to help my dad get his buck. I attached a pic of a big spilt brow buck. This time of year things can change daily as the we get closer to the rut. That being said this other buck showed up Tuesday and while dad was on stand he watched from a distance them shoving each other around pretty heavily. Forward to this morning we had a heavy rain so I went around 11:00 checked cameras and saw the new buck heading into bedding area. Called dad told him I’d bet he’s be back thru same way he went in this morning and he came right back around 5:30 and my dad made a great shot and deer expired quickly in about 75 yards. Real dandy 5x6 or 11 pt however it’s a stud

Thanks saw yeah after all that he taught me over the years it feels real good to pay him back w a buck of this magnitude.
