I'm headed up to Tahoe tomorrow, Thursday, and will be gone for most of the week.
Hopefully I'll be able to get the stuff done up there. Gonna be a monumental job though. Gotta crawl around under the house and remove all the old insulation. Having a company come out and put a new insulation system in as soon as I get it all cleared out.
They gave me a bid of $5,500.00 for them to remove it.
A lot of it is down on the ground and I'll have to stuff it all in big garbage bags and d**g it out.
OH Well. Such is life.
Anyway, have fun with the Grandkids.

Are they doing the spray on insulation? I was going to do that down south and was wondering if that spray on was water proof. Never did get around to it.

Hey Bob. The beam got fixed and the insulation is a NEW type that lays down on the ground and is waterproof. It's all sealed so NO ground water comes up under the house.
I'll give you the name of it later and you can look it up. Much easier than me tryin to explain it.

That's okay Steve i have seen the ground cover type used around here in crawl spaces. Great moisture barrier.
