Old Bass Guy is not real far from you. Welcome to Fishingstage. Good luck fishing.
OBG use to go by Young Beach Guy. Now it translates to Old Beach Guy too. He is a really cool guy with a bunch of really cool true stories.

Good morning Jerry, welcome to the stage. Fished DVL last week and a couple of trips before that. A lot of dinks up against the shore was all I got. The other boats did pretty much the same. Fished Skinner on Tues this week with the same results, all dinks up against the reeds. Did see one guy get a nice catfish down by the floats. I had a report from a buddy at Perris and he said they just shocked the lake three time and the water level was down quite a bit. How did you do at Silverwood?
Caught three from boat dock , nothing to brag about. Mornings are cooler that affecting persons fishing, getting lonely here!
Fished Silverwood past Sunday from Boat dock nearest to ramp area . Saw several trout close to shore on way down im not a trout guy. Caught one small striper after two hours guess that's why it's called fishing and not catching!

Thanks for the report, was just wondering as I have never fished there.
Silverwood has more stripers than other species they stock trout there are catfish bass blue gill just what you expect. It can get cold early am and the windy season it gets tough. Over all good lake, close to home and you can catch nice fish from dock but be prepared to hook cables holding dock in place
