Decided to take advantage of the glorious weather we’re having and went out with Karel (boat co-owner) and two of the Alaskan fishing group Tom and Joe. It was a crowded deck with the 4 of us but we made it work and the weather and seas were the best I’ve ever been out in. We managed to put 3 in the box, land a bat ray, have something break off the line near the surface and miss a few bites. The Blue Angels made a few fly bys to help entertain us as well. All in all a great day to be out!!

Nice fish caught and a perfect day on the on the water with friends, it doesn’t get better than that. Thanks for sharing.

Great catch! Looks like you have one right eyed, one left eye. Pretty cool.

Great day on the water! Sounds like you were outside the gate? We are headed out tomorrow and weather looks awesome.

Thanks K Krew, we drifted the back side of Alcatraz mostly then went over to raccoon straits for a bit where we landed 1 and the bat ray.
