58 dollars fishing license, 18 dollars 2nd pole,salmon season closed,special regulations on rock cod,section 13000-13014 California fish and wildlife code,states 33 percent of all fish license money collected will go to hatchery and planted trout, that is not happening, California anglers we need a refund davey ducks

Here in California we're used to paying more and getting less. That's just who we are.

Why is California always at the fore front of all the rest of the states with the price of a fishing license? But the fisherman get less. Some one in the know explain this to me please. Fished Utah,Arizona,Wyoming and thier out of state licenses were cheaper than a California license by a lot

All my life I've lived in CA and paid $72 for my fishing license. Now I'm in AZ and things are more affordable.

As a youth a combination hunting and fishing license cost $5.00. That included deer and elk tags. The rest were fair game with no tag needed. Mountain Lions had a bounty on them along with bob cats. I don't know about wolves as they were pretty well thinned out.

The golden state of California is loooooooong gone! Its more like the #@$%&* state and probably will never recover. California fish and has been changed to cal wildlife. To them Climate change is more important than catching any fish. But please buy a fishing license they need the money! I won't buy a ca license or fish here. I go out of state for all my fishing. All in my opinion.
