No boat. Shore fishing from Earp , Ca side of the Colorado River. Any tips, ideas?

Slow fishing action. 2 Sunfish, 2 Bass. Lots of Crawdads(20-30) a night. Makes a fun boil . Great resort with plenty of activities, Karaoke, heated pool, etc. putting course.
