Out on the water about 0600 hrs. Had a blast for about an hour. Then suddenly they went away. Tried to track them but it was a hit and miss. I see early mornings are the go to. The water has calm down as well as the temperature in the water.

Nice fish Troy! Are the spots running yet this year. We've been going to Oak Island in the middle of October for the last 10 or 12 years. The first few years we had quite a bit of success but the last few not so much. Not going this year due to my in laws health problems. I'm going to miss it. Good luck and keep the pictures coming.

I went up to Va and launched from the James River. HD a blast. I will be glad when or if the spots get to NC. Last few years have been very slow

They are like a hit and miss here. Nothing has changed since the last few years. They seem to go out around us.
