Weedless Ned rig

Tried a ned rig for the first time yesterday with decent results however I got caught up in weeds and submerged trees. I looked into weedless ned hooks. They were all of the type with a stiff wire that almost touches the hook point. Never had success with that kind. Then I looked on you tube. The suggested a worm nail in one end and a ewg Texas rigged hook in the other. This would put the fishing line knotted at the top instead of the bottom.
Any thoughts?

Ibe, Owner has a new NED hook called the Blockhead. It combines a NED head with a EWG style hook. You rig your bait like a TR worm. 100%weedless, I love them, give them a shot.

You're welcome.
I've also had luck using them with Craws, and Creatures, in place of a Shaky head style jig.

Price is good and the quality is fair. You get 5 colors and 25 in the pack.
