I have fished for salmon in Michigan on the Manatee River, Tippy Dam, and the White river. Being from Illnois I was wondering if anyone could suggest spots for this season. I heard that the salmon are slow for their fall run. Any suggestion on spots and methods would be appreciated.

Manistee river. Beyond that check with river guides or bait shops ( I don't fish it).
