Hey all,

Im from Lexington, SC and grew up freshwater fishing my entire life. Now that I have recently moved to Charleston I am lacking the necessary knowledge to get on some fish down in this area. I have a 20ft center console and even that hasn't helped me get on fish. Would appreciate any help from locals on whats biting right now, and where the best place to go is. Ive been hearing the jettys are a good place if I'm looking to get on some sheepshead but havent been able to get out there yet. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Being new I would not attempt fishing for sheepshead at the jetties. You have to know how to anchor your boat real close to the rocks without being washed up in them. Try the bridge pylons and docks in the ICW. Where are you launching your boat at? Welcome to Charleston and the Stage
