Oregon and Washington require barbless hooks for salmon fishing. Washington requires barbless for any type of fishing in Puget Sound. As a result, fishing supply stores all offer barbless hooks, of all sizes in Washington. i think even the national chains sell them in OR and WA. Look up local fishing stores on line in any City. Cabelas and Outdoor Emporium also have them. Or try barbless hooks on Amazon.

Thank you thuner. I have the available barbless. It appears replacement large eye barbless are not made. Thanks again. Replacement refers to an eye large enough for split rings, to replace hooks on our plugs.

I've replaced dozens of barbed trebles from plugs and spoons with large single barbless - whether bought or crimped. For those hooks without an open adjustable eye, I use split rings to connect both and it works fine.
