i know nothing about Lake Wylie but i do know catfishing. If your bank fishing sling it out as far as you can put it in a rod holder sit and wait. I fish mostle from a boat but when camping thats what I do and catch a lot. I use stink bait on a wal mart catfish rig. Good luck.
