Salmon run American River

I'm wondering if there's any way of having a good idea how far up the majority of the salmon may have made it up to now. And of course where are the best spots to catch em are... thnx.

Hey Riverdad, Charly was bein serious and NICE.
California doesn't have a Salmon season AT ALL this year. Even out in the ocean off our coast.
We thought you meant the American River in downtown Sacramento that runs out of the Nimbus Dam.
The Salmon run all the way up to the dam. Have fished for Salmon and Steelhead on the American many times.
Hopefully they will open it back up next year.

So far so good. Hopefully we are done this weekend.have lot to still pack up. Professional movers are coming next Wednesday to move all the big stuff. Should be done by the end of next week. Don’t forget about our trip to Berryessa the first week of October. Love to have u there my friend! At least for a day or two!
