Hello fairly new here moved to Oregon almost 3 years ago. Originally from Clearlake California also known for having him one of the largest bass tournaments around. Trying to escape from work and clear my schedule for some leisure time. I hear Roberts Landing out of Newberg is a good place to start for some bass fishing.
RoGers Landing is on Willamette River. Welcome to Fishingstage. Actually NorCal Fishinstage have had a get together at Clearlake for 2 years so far. I have been to both of them. A friend ( Jarheadfishnfool ) and I made breakfast for everyone 2 days down there.
There is Memorial Day Outboard Boat Races at Roger’s Landing with a 21 gun salute that is really awesome. There is Sm Mouth Bass in the Columbia and Willamette. In the Columbia Gorge there is a lot of culverts and water on other sides of railroad tracks that have bass in them. The tide fluctuates all the way up to Bonneville Dam. You landed in a great place here. You can eat the fish here. There is many types of fish to target here. Salmon bite is red hot currently in many places.
