Hi everyone. My name is William; I’m new here and from Goodyear. I’m taking my boys up to Lee’s Ferry to fish this weekend. I’m looking for any suggestions for camping, bait and best place to start casting. Anything helps! Thank you ahead!

Haven't been there for year's but I'll try to help. There is a campground above the river National Park Service I think. There is a motel or two nearby at the turnoff to the ferry. You can shore fish from about the rapids/Paria river upstream for a ways, don't remember how far but I think a mile maybe? Someone who knows for sure can chime in. No bait allowed! Artificial lures and flys only! Go online and look this stuff up, "azgfd.gov"; type "Lee's Ferry" into your search engine and start digging. Good luck, beautiful country!

Caught a 3#15 1/2 oz. Brookie just north of the launch ramp from shore on a Rapala...... in November..... 1985. Just ounces off the state record.
If Marble Canyon store and motel are still there, good source of info.
Good luck!

It’s been three years but we fished shore just past where the boats take off from there is a lot of shore line but we did better just a little bit below the launch area park off side of road short walk just before the rapids not much shore line but caught some on rooster tails ,kastmasters, thomasboyunts nothing like getting a hit from a river trout
