I’ll be in Holden Beach for a few days from the 22nd - 25th. Can anyone report on what fish are in the surf now and what they are biting?

You should b e able to find some whiting and spot, as well as red and black drum, maybe some blues. Typical baits are shrimp and finger mullet.

Thanks Flytier! Good info. As you probably know, there is a good bait shop in Holden and their info is usually good. But hearing from somebody without a dog in the race is very valuble!
