Before the lake closes prior to fall trout stocking opener is Oct 21 at 6 am....we are catching some nice catfish ...flatheads on small bluegill caught at the lake via small worms or grubs....see picture if i get it to work.

I got photo post to work....hurrah! See lady friend doubted me setting her.up with 2 pc med action spinning ugly stick with Shimano reel with ....rear drag adjustment...very important to fight big fish on light line...and 8 lb test Tri Max Berkeley Line that is " new" off bulk spool i have been slowly using bought new in 1988.if you store bulk spools of mono i guess it's immortal...or ????? This catfish fed 4 adults and weighed just under 12 pounds on my postal scale.I really need a good scale any suggestions?????

Fished Monday 1 to 530 pm in Bay north of boat launch as Sunday got skunked fishing the point and as done Man and wife in Bay told me caught every type of fish except the rainbow trout...I caught 7 bluegills and 1 perch on garlic nightcrawler and the bite was very light ...bobber moved sideways not up and down....nobody catching trout...odd.!!!!!
