Hi All! I have caught Steelhead with a 9', 5wt., 4 lb tippet. We're going to be camping in the RI/Conn. area for 2-3 weeks, soon. I have rods and line (up to 30# braid) but would like recommendations about fishing. I'm slightly disabled and can't walk very far. Porgys to Striped Bass and I like to fish after dark at times.

There is a lot of information available at On the Water magazine. Also google on the water fishing report and you get a lot of choices for info. Keep us posted and have fun.

If you are anywhere near Westerly or Burlingame, look into Charleston, R.I. Many easily accessable spots with great fishing.

TY. We're going to hopefully find a state (RI) campground near Newport or Burlingame/Newport. We're heading up tomorrow after the storm moves through your area. If the bay and ocean are off-color should I use orange, red, or other colors for hardware when I fish them? >If you know anyone who wants to meet/fish w/ a trout fisherman give them my email, >cardellino.dave@gmail.com<. I'll fish any time of the day or night but I have Neuropathy and can't walk a mile to a fishing spot. Thank Much, Dave
