Riding my bike this morning I had to turn around and get a shot of this guy,Id say that he is about 12' off the water,hope he don't slip.

Looks like a good spot to me. Sure would reduce the competition from other shore anglers.

Oh it is too.Not much river bank, water has been high all year.Tree here we come.

Finder I remember when I used to do that at the river.

Finder, I had a spot like that at Babcock Pond in Westchester CT , but only a couple of feet off the water. Excellent spot, caught a bunch of nice LM's there. Developer came in and fenced it off, so no more access from shore, but I don't have the balance to do that stuff anymore, anyhow. Had a few times with my rod halfway under water to get them out from under my feet. Great little fishing hole but a terrible launch keeps it uncongested except for yaks or very shallow draft boats.
