Caught a bunch of cats this morning.

Channel cats were biting this morning at Blue Marsh Lake. Below are just a few pics of the largest. All were returned to the water to be caught again.

Hey Grizzly….they are nice looking and healthy, I think because of that the lake has a good balance of food and clean water. There are bigger ones in the lake because a few days ago I had one alongside the boat that got unhooked before I could net it.
I was using night crawlers for bait.
Another fisherman told me there are flatheads in Blue Marsh, so I tried cut bait on two fishing trips there but did not even get a bite on that bait.

I’m trying to catch the size you caught lately, I think they were two big blues along with a bunch of smaller ones in a pic you posted…congrats to you.

Thanks DV. The big pne was a channel and the 20lb,er was a blue.
