The farm irrigation was not a big issue for the water levels in central Nebraska for most of the summer because of significant rain in most areas. However in July the draw on water slowly started to be noticable. The last month we have seen dramatic changes. I'm not complaining about it because that's what the reservoirs are for, supplying irrigation water for the crops. So slow down that boat and enjoy the fall fishing no matter what you are fishing for.
I just wish I could have seen some of the boats that got stuck in the mud recently because they thought the reservoir was built just for wake boarding, (and I don't have anything against the sport.)
