Got out for just a little bit last night. The Smallmouth just would not cooperate so I flipped a few blow down trees and salvaged the trip with Largemouth. ended up with 3 all in the 3 pound class but only got two pics. They were holding right in the middle of the tree tops holding in 4 to 5 ft of water over 12 ft.

Nice ones Mike. Good job adapting to what they were giving you. Thanks for the pictures.

Seems like zoom works pretty well down south.
When I get back together I have some I'll try up here.
Told Eyecrosser zoomuse to be popular around here. Not so much anymore.
I order what I wanted from tackle direct. Got it a day earlier than stated.
I'm impressed π

I've been using Zoom products for as long as they've been in business. The zoom small salty chunk with a glass rattle inserted trail behind most of my jigs a Zoom Trick Worm in pink or green pumpkin rigged weightless is a killer in the spring along with a Zoom Lizard. The Ol Monster Zoom worm is a go to during night fishing used just like I did the u tail. all good baits but I'm normally fishing a homemade jig and Zoom chunk for Smallmouth.

I don't know what happened around here.
Guys used the bush hogs n the chunks. The one day gone.
When Eyecrosser said he used a baby bush hog in a post. I started looking in my stash. Found a pack baby hogs n a pk of the big ones.
New stuff comes out every day π

That kinda happened around here Net Baits took the lead for a while but I stuck with Zoom. We don't have any good tackle shops in our area, Wal-Mart has nothing I buy and I refuse to go in that place. We've had two tackle shops open and close in the past 5 years so now I just order the stuff I want on line, Tackle Warehouse or Fish USA and get what I want delivered to the front door. You'd think with several lakes close there would be a decent store but the only good tackle store close to me is at least 40 miles so ordering online works.

Same here a couple small sporting stores. More hunting oriented.
No real good water close.
Sportsmans Warehouse about 20 minutes away but the fishing department is very limited.
Local wmart was decent till covid.
Now it's terrible. They run outta something they don't restock.
Very limited selection.
Dicks has a nice selection of yum products.
Lately I've been ordering. Pay shipping but still cheaper than a 2+ hr round tip to bass pro.
Traffic around Harrisburg Pa is insane now.
40 mph across the Susquehanna River Bridge 60/70 is the norm if you don't want to get run over.
It's not like I need anything new but you know how fishing is going ππ£
