Hello I'm new to TN and a one armed bass fisherman. It's been real tough for me so far, a fish here or there, nothing big. I'm looking for some tips for Ocoee reservoir, lake Chickamauga, and Douglas lake. I would greatly appreciate and advice

I fished Douglas last fall with a guide. Lake level was down a lot. Guide said it fluctuates frequently and 10’ of change is not unusual. We found some smallies and white bass on points in the morning. Topwater walking baits early and then switched to squarebill crankbaits, A-rig, and spinnerbaits throughout the day. Gotta admit it was slow and numbers were less than we expected. Rip rap near the bridge held a few and a few more in creeks along drop offs. Btw, it is a heavily fished body of water. There were a lot of boats and this was on a week day. Would
I go back? Probably not. The guide did not impress.

Fish deep in Douglas. Even after they drop water levels. Minnows work as well as crankbaits.

Ok thanks, did you find any certain color better than most?

Had some luck with lime green or chartreuse jigs.

Shad pattern crankbaits, A-rig was ghost or white paddle tails. We did have better luck with smaller cranks as it was fall and we went with downsized baits.
