Salmon fishing Rogue River, Medford Oregon. Anyone fishing this right now? 9/5/23.
Just checking to see if anyone has a feel for the Rogue River in Medford. 9/5/23

I SHOULD have a succinct answer for you, but am in the process of moving to a new abode, and will be in the throes of relocation for another few weeks. No time to fish or even check with buddies who go frequently, sorry.
The ODFW fishing report will have some amount of info for you that will give you an inkling of what's going on down here. Just click on the "Southwestern Region" and scroll down to the Rogue report(s)....there will be more than one.
Which brings me to ask...what PART of the river are you inquiring about ? Those of us that live in the upper stretches will most certainly have a different take than those at the Gold Beach estuary.
Good luck, and hope to get back to fishing before the fall runs slow, and we have that lull before winter steelhead start showing up.
Pray for RAIN !!! Both we humans AND the fish need some in order to thrive !
(Although, in hindsight of having written those words.....hoping for rain, while in the process of moving doesn't exactly sound wise, now does it ?......hehehe......split priorities !)
