Evenings really cooling off, and daytime temps are perfect. Probably my favorite time to fish as these bass will begin to fatten up before winter hits. Fun fishing for smallies and largemouth under beautiful skies… oh, and only boat on the playing field. All fish released to fight again. Fish hit swimbaits, dropshot, and my weedless Huddleston. You’re living in Gods country! I’ve never been there but seen enough of it to really like it, but don’t think I could deal with the months of winter there? Keep up the catching and posting so I can be jealous! Tight lines.

Lived there for 10 years. Beautiful state. Pike Bass and Trout all available in lakes rivers and streams.
Seasons usually changed in mid August.
