Maine Fishing

I freely admit that I am a fair weather fisherman, and the weather this year in Maine has kept me off the water a lot. The past week, however, has been great so I went out this morning, mostly to relax and maybe catch something. As you can see, the pond was flat calm and hardly a cloud to be seen - not the kind of day that would cause me to expect a lot of action. I was right. I did, however, manage to land three in 2.5 hrs of fishing. Nothing very big. The picture shows the best of the bunch.

Looks like a beautiful morning on the water Tuboshu. I'm surprised that the topwater bite wasn't good with the mirror like conditions. Three is plenty respectable for the short time you were out. Thanks for the beautiful pictures.

That’s a very respectable fish and the setting is reward enough all by itself!!

That's a magnificent looking pond, tuboshu. Being out on that water, I'd say the fish were just icing on the cake!

Roberts Pond in Lyman. It's connected with Wadleigh Pond, which I have also fished, but I prefer Roberts. Only accessible by carry in.

Looks like an Absolutely gorgeous day tuboshu, and No skunk. That makes it a Fantastic day. Nice looking Fish!
