Welcome! When I was a kid we would fish the river for steelhead from Sumner upstream to Orting.

I remember those days. I used to catch some pretty nice Steelhead up there. Back in the mid 70's early 80's the Puyallup used to be one of the top Steelhead producing rivers in the state.

Yeah, probably late 60’s for us. We usually would fish by the pipe bridge in McMillan. I remember cold fingers. Maybe if I caught a fish I wouldn’t have noticed the fingers 😁
