“God’s will be done”
This is how we should always pray.
Pastor Terry Newell went Home to be with his Saviour this morning.
We just now got the news and even through tears, Myrna and I knew Terry was now happy and pain free. Although we hurt for Shella and all those who loved Terry, as we do, we realize he has finally finished his assignment that he accepted from God, so many years ago.
We look forward to meeting up with him later, but until then, we hope we can do even half the good that he has done as we work for the Lord.
Thank you all for your prayers and please continue to pray for the family and friends of Pastor Terry.
Here’s a word of encouragement to you all from the Apostle Paul:
“But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you. As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.”
2 Timothy 4:5-8 NLT

Thanks, Bob; I knew what you meant. I’m used to autocorrect by now. It gets me often if I forget to re-read all my posts. 😳
