I was wondering how the tuna fishing has been at Westport WA. I’ve got a trip planned for the end of September.

Hi. I just went Tuna fishing out of Westport September 28. It was great! filled the boat with 30 Tuna ranging from #20 ish to #40. Average was #25 to #30 range. (Deck hand said the #40 was the largest he had ever seen caught)
Particulars: fished 40 miles offshore. Water was quite warm and seas were about as calm as they get.. Charter "All Rivers and Saltwater Charter" Captain David (note they use fast 29' boats with max of six fishermen. They run into October fishing daily as weather permits. (The week before my trip they missed a week of fishing because of the weather. The farther in to the fall you go, probability of storms increases)
