Welcome to the site Leslie. I'm glad to see another local person on the site. I live in New Ulm and am familiar with the chain of lakes but have never fished there except once on Hall Lake. I'm primarily interested in information about walleye fishing on local lakes including the Fairmont and Windom areas. Any feedback or suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you, Bud. I fish Budd a lot as I have mobility issues and the fishing pier is handy for me

Hi Leslie, My wife and I have been fishing the chain of lakes as well. Catching mostly Yellow Bass. We caught a few Drum and Catfish too. I’m interested to hear what your having luck with. We have been using spinners and minnows. I tried some “stinky balls” bait from Sommers bait shop as well. Most of our luck has been on Hall Lake.
