Last trip to McDonough Friday 9/1

McDonough will be closed after Monday. I decided to make my last trip tomorrow, Friday, because it has the best weather forecast. 75° for the high, and a 3-5 mph breeze. Starting Saturday the high will be 81° and up to 89°by Monday. Might as well enjoy the cooler weather while it's here, and miss the last minute crowds of regulars over the weekend. Hopefully I'll be able to find some more Smallmouth, deep, and maybe the big Largemouth that escaped me last time. We shall see how it plays out.

Good luck Fred. I'll be meeting up for my first doctor approved day of fishing. Meeting brother Bob and Kandy on LBI tomorrow. My brother truck got totaled and the replacement isn't rigged yet, and Kandy has wanted to try LBI, so here we go. I've had my beach pass since spring before they shut own driving for the summer, so I'm ready to rock on opening day. It's about the only stretch of beach that has been fished all summer from shore. So go get them, especially that big mama
