Welcome to the stage Shirley, salt fork can be tough at times. Early morning was always good for crappie with minnows in summer time in about 6 to 8 ft of water. Call salt fork outdoors bait shop an talk with them 740 439 4570 . You might try trolling with plastics. Good luck and share your pics 👍

I fished Salt Fork for years, from first yr open 1970. It can be difficult. Morning Glory launch is down by the dam. Straight across from launch there’s a point that is gradual toward dam. 32’ of water. Saugeye are caught along that point. Area below cabins produces saugeye. Troll from mentioned point east toward cabin/lodge area is decent water and produces You just have to fish around. Good luck. Beautiful lake.
