Hi, how do you fish for steelhead in the Rogue River in Oregon?

Same as bout any other river for steelhead.

I use a bug and bubble system. Any favorite flies?

Haven't been able to go lately, but first of April, we were having great luck with a flyrod, both with beadhead Prince Nymphs and soft beads in a size 12, peach-colored....basically drift fishing.
We were most successful just upstream from Fisher's Ferry. My buddy told me his luck was with bobber-dogging egg clusters or sacs. Might want to check with the fly shops or tackle stores near where you intend to fish. They usually have the latest on reports and could tell you what those that are coming by with tales, are buying to replenish gear.
What stretch of the Rogue do you fish ?
What was working/has worked is kinda relative to which stretch of river (how far from the ocean) you target.
