Gordon out of all the hurricanes and Tropical storms I hunkered down on while living down there. I can not remember when one would come through at the height of it during day light hours.
Amazing the noises a house and a big storm make and the mind just goes with it. Good luck hopefully it will shift east before it gets to you.

I remember only one that came day light hours back in the late 90's. Still didn't see anything because I had boarded up the windows.

Be safe Gordon. That storm is no joke. Hopefully it won't be as bad as Hugo was in 1989 when I lived down there.
