Fishing Lake Delavan

Hi does anyone have any fishing reports about lake delavan? LMK if it’s a popular smallie lake or walleye . Are there camping in the area or state park.

I have been on the shore of Lake Delavan several times and cast a line in but no serious fishing. I too would be interested in any fishing advice. It could be a day trip for me if I can rent a little fishing boat.

I fished lake Delavan years ago. Mostly for panfish, but we also caught walleyes, bass and pike there. Of course there are rough fish there as well, carp and Buffalo to name a couple.
I don't know of any campgrounds near the lake. There is a lodge on the north shore called Lake Lawn Lodge. I've never stayed there but have heard it is kind of pricy.

Lake Lawn Lodge is where I thru a line in. I've been there twice. Once with my son for a soccer tournament and last winter with my wife for a weekend get away. Nice place. A little pricy.
I'll have to look for boat rentals for a day fishing trip.
