I'm a senior retired veteran, and having problem with finding productive
area on shore/ bank fishing. mostly fishing Stockton park type areas for shade on the St. Johns river.
anyone have ideas or knows locations that 2 old seniors can go fishing safely and actually catch fish
on regular bases.

There are many places along the St. Johns to drop a line. The south side of the river around Mayport is popular. On the north side, Sisters Creek mentioned about offers some spots. Around the St. Johns River Ferry, there are some places, too. Huguenot Park gives you access to the jettie. If you keep driving along Heckscher, there are plenty of places to fish.
