The Wife and I toured the new Maritime Museum is Sturgeon Bay, WI yesterday. It is a beautiful facility if ever you get the chance. The tour starts at the 10th floor and you can climb up to the roof for a beautiful view of the waterway, before descending through the display floors.
On the way down there are very inspiring quotes is the stairways and I had to include two which meant a lot to me…

Looks great, OJ.
I’m putting that on my list of places to visit.
Thanks for the heads up.
Did you get any fishing done while you were there?

No, I didn’t. The cold front came in and I was scouting for launches as the City has never been a destination, only a drive-through to Northern Door County. We visited some relatives while there.
Not a lot of catching going on.

We love going through Door County, especially when we have full autumn colors. I’ve never fished there, but my dad used to camp on Washington Island and caught some really nice smallmouth there. Many years ago.

The islands around the Door are supposed to hold some great fish…

Looks like a awesome place John and I agree with the quotes. I believe all plastic should be done away with that has anything to do with food or drink that we Put in our body. way too much plastic in this world 👍

I agree to a point Whitey. Single use plastic should be eliminated, but if it can be recycled it SHOULD be! Unfortunately, there is too much Global Apathy.
Looks like a nice place to visit. Thanks for the quotes!
Find it funny when I go to grocery store here in NJ the food is all wrapped in plastic, personal hygiene products in plastic yet when I leave they won't give me a bag to put all THEIR plastic in. Go figure. I personally used to use those bags as trash can liners. Good ole NJ!
Really want to get out to Oregon and Washington one of these days.

Gotta love Door County and all it has to offer.
