Blue. I remember this from my restaurant days when we had octopus on the menu. Instead of hemoglobin (iron based so comes out red) which we have in our blood for O2 transport, they have hemocyanin ("cyan" or blue) in theirs, which is copper based.

Excellent job DC your spot on with the explanation, and yes many marine creatures have blue 🔵 blood. This got me to thinking. People of Royalty are called Blue Bloods. That sounds fishy to me. Commander Bell out
