Dog. You can by beer. Wine and liquor at restaurants and bars on Sunday. Beer and wine at stores on Sunday but liquor stores are closed.

My bad. I should have said back in 1989 you could not buy Alcohol on Sundays or used to be.
Thanks for the clarification Gordon. That's how it is in Texas. Many South Carolinians came to settle Texas long before territory gained statehood.
