The last 3 weeks have been some of the toughest fishing I can remember in long time fished Spring lake a couple times with out a bite! R.F.P has also been tuff although I have caught a couple there. So today I decided to go back to where I cut my teeth! Got to Sonoma at 7:00am foggy and cool, started out in a spot that i use to fish regularly, caught 2 Bass there one ok one and one dink. Soon after I packed up my gear and made a move to the marina caught 1 smallmouth and a cat fish both put up a good fight for their size! It was clear and sunny 83 degrees when I got back to the parking lot. This is when you find out what youβre made of! When the fishing gets tuff it just motivates me to get out there and catch more! Not just give up and sit at home and wait till it gets better! Never, not this guy!!! You can find me on the banks of our local lakes! Good luck and be safe!!π¦

Way to keep at it Matt! I've run into the same situation recently, and I've found that to just keep plugging away has paid off. Keep up the good work my friend and you'll be back to your bountiful days in no time.
Nice job!!! When the going gets tough, we just fish harder!!!

Ahh, to be young again! Way to go Matt and for hanging in there and getting a few. Back when I was your age, felt the same way. As you get older, it gets tougher. Drove out to my home lake with the wife to just check it out and go for a walk. When you drive into the launch ramp and see only three boats in the parking lot, you know it is slow and tough to get enthused. So I just drive an extra hour to at least have a chance to get some fish these days. "Never, not this guy"...................well maybe. Keep the lines tight buddy, I always enjoying watching you catch fish
