Got the boat running again. first day was flat fishing for an hour after testing the boat. Needed dinner and fresh bait. The second day was putting the bait to use.
Unfortunately, the day ended with something giving out and clogging my fuel filter with fine particles. I think it might have been a wasp nest installed while the water separator was open during maintenance. Oh well, gives me something to do in my free time.

Making me hungry. Glad boat is running again. If updating fuel filters siphon a gallon of fuel out from behind the filter on the tank side. Filter will restrict silt but if just change filter the line full of dirty fuel will plug new filter again.

Thanks for the advice. I am cleaning and blowing out the entire system as well as replacing all the filters and water separator. I will also replace the fuel line pump and clean the tank, a 17 gal. remote tank. I will also be cleaning out the fuel components on the engine. Better to be safe than sorry.

The real positive side of things is the crabbing will be open until Christmas if we get the extension we have the past few years. The Silver run is better than normal so hopefully will not get shut down through September, and the sole are always a fall back to fill the belly. On top of that, i have week long reservations at three lakes east of the mountains in October. Three weeks with no honey do list. My fishing buddies wife will be watching my wife. I sure hope I can get the boat and RV back to 100%.
On the down side is wind and rain with thunderstorms for the next week. I may be working on my toys in the rain.

Bapa, what east side lakes you going to? I'm originally from Spokane and have fished alot of lakes around there and north Idaho. Some great fishing there at certain times of the year.

Potholes on the first of Oct, Chelan the next week and lower Spokane (Porcupine) the third week. That is if they don't all burn up by then. Target fish is everything including from bullhead to keeper sturgeon if there is no emergency closures. We are both still have a large walleye on our mind.

I forgot to mention that it will be our first time at Potholes and The Spokane, though we have fished the mouth of the river for bass and trout successfully. We stayed at Two Rivers across from Fort Spokane. We have fished Chelan several times. It will likely be late for Kokanee and lakers, but we have done well that time of year on deep bass and cutthroat. We will be in the condo at Wapato Point.
I am open to any suggestions.
