Info is dated but was stationed at Andrews AFB 1990-1999. Lived in St Mary's County. Fished St Mary's lake and the upper Potomac. Both were excellent. St Mary's lake is electric motors only. Caught two LM over 7 Lbs and many smaller. Potomac was great for smallmouth.

My son and I just fished the Potomac on Saturday and we caught a total of 34 and could've had at least 45 had the fish stayed on the hook. It was a great day for fishing, all small mouth the largest being a 2-1/2lb smallie.

Thanks for responding, I'm interested in catching largemouth bass or snakeheads. Basically Predatory fish. I catch and release. I love to fish for the sport and relaxation.
