Just discovered this site and hoping to meet fellow local fisherman. I fish in and around Boston Harbor as well as Lake Cochituate in MA.

Thanks Gordon - good friends of ours recently bought a beach house at Folly Beach. Have you ever fished there?

I surfed fish there Thursday. Wind was NE at 20. So the rip kept washing the bait back to shore. I fish the River quit often for Reds an Whiting.

We live in MetroWest and fish lake Cochituate from shore and 9’ tender boat w small trolling motor. Fish Massachusetts bay by boat. How about you guys?

Is Mass Bay still good for flounder? I hear Boston Harbor is known for flounder.

Yes I think so but I haven’t fished for flounder in years but now my grandkids are getting to age where I’m going to pick it back up next year!

What do you have for a bay boat? Perhaps from time to time can take you out of Portsmouth and you can show me Boston.

Cool. This week I’m working on the garage. So far this year I haven’t had a long enough stretch of sunshine to untarp the roof to finish. Hopefully it will be done this week.
