I've never Bass fished here but try under the docks on Lake Bowen
Thank you sir! And the same to you as well. Let’s catch some hogs!
Welcome Hizz to FS. I've caught Bass with minnows but there's plenty of bass baits. Check with a local bait shop for tips in your area.
Learn to fish a Texas and wacky rigged plastic worm or stick bait. They catch bass everywhere.
Tight lines

Higgz, Welcome to the Stage. Glad ya found this forum.
I'm gonna give ya some tips on baitshop etiquette in case you don't have experience with them.
* Buy something. Even a bottle of water or a few split shots.
* If they have coffee, get some & if necessary, fib a little ( it's a fisherman's place ) and say it's tasty.
* Admire the photos on the wall, and any mounts that are hanging there.
* While you're a new guy, make discreet inquiries, don't expect proprietor to give up everything for a while. * *Much of the information you desire comes from his best and oldest customers, so naturally he has some loyalty to them.
*** Most all of these guys are customer orientated and friendly, that's why they are still open for business, with a huge investment hanging around with very little profitable turnover. We're lucky to have them. When possible, try to help them remain open if you can. Then they'll be there when ya need them.
I hope I'm not patronizing you with this reply, just trying to help. nutz🥜.
Thank you sir. I’ll definitely keep that in mind. I appreciate the tip.

You can simply go to the locations you want to fish because they are near you. Follow Gordon’s advice. He is an expert fisherman. Local bait shops can have all the right stuff. Once you figure out exactly what you need you can also mail order it from many places. Talk to the people you see hooking fish to get the real deal.
Good Luck. Hook em and cook em. Please share your pictures of your fish. Fishingstage is a great place to figure out fishing for sure. J in Cleveland gave first class Bass bait information as well. Those hints and clues have won Bass Tournaments.
I am in Inman. Fish Bowen. I am from up north, have fished with Bobby. Like Bobby haven't been out much lately, been too hot. I use wacky rig and split shot rig on Bowen. Do catch some on crank baits now and then. Good luck.
Benny2022, are you fishing from the bank or a boat?
