Took Larry {FishnRods) out in my boat today fishing for LMB's. He had not fished for them in many, many years. Was able to put him on a few. We caught 9 fish total, all small. But, no critters and we had some fun!

Nice job Captain Garey! Congrats Larry! Are you ready to spend several thousand $ on gear, only to wind up using a 50 cent plastic worm? Welcome to the addiction.

I think of that every time I lift my 50lb tackle bag into my boat Mark. Then I go out and catch most of my fish on a Yum Dinger.

I'm always thinking that I'll be in a perfect situation to use each of them, but it never turns out that way. Oh well, I'm ready if it ever happens.

I do the same, have boxes and bags full of hoping to be catching gear that I lug around and then only use my four inch 297 green pumpkin sinko . WHY do we do this.

We have much more tackle, than patience Al. I try to throw the other 5 rods at least a couple times each. If nothing happens, the worm rod it is.

I think we all use what works best for us, I catch most of my fish on the whacky rig so I use it most of the time ( maybe thats why I catch more fish with it because I am using it more)
