Met up with 40Grit around 6 AM and we hit the water. We trolled a bit between the launch and Brazos Bridge. We marked lots of fish and 40Grit go bit pretty quick and released a shaker. We stayed up there and trolled up and down river. Then we hooked biggest fish of day 23" plus, a fat one! As the sun began to rise we went to our other spots to cast and hooked a nice one at Power Tower but it got off. We fished the mud flat and 8 Pound Point, missed one in the mud flat and hooked one around 8 Pound Point. Was slow so we decided to troll up to Power Tower, and then into South Slough. South Slough we hooked a couple of keepers and a shaker, we were done at that point.
I believed we hooked 8 fish, missed two, landed 6,. released two and kept legal limit of four, two each. 'They ranged from 19" plus to 23" plus. We limited by 9:30 AM and headed back. It was a beautiful sunrise and morning as you can see in the picture.
